Selecting the perfect villa, farmhouse, or apartment for your vacation in Italy

What to Expect?

Villa Experience:

Staying in a villa is an introduction to the local culture and bounty of that particular region. Rooted in Italian hospitality and a desire to be of service, your host will reach out and welcome you. Interaction with local residents is what makes a villa vacation most memorable. You return feeling a connection to the warm people of Italy.

Rental period:

Most properties are rented for a minimum of 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday, in the medium and high seasons. You can stay for less than a week, but must pay for 7 days. Many owners are willing to offer a minimum stay of 3 to 4 nights in the low season.

Included or not:

Each owner determines if the following is included in the weekly rental cost: electricity, heat, air conditioning and cleaning. If it is not included, you will be charged at the end of your stay in euros.

Security deposit:

Most owners require a security or damage deposit to be paid upon arrival in euros. This is refunded in whole or in part, if any damage occurred. This is also included in the quote.

Special services:

For an additional charge extra services may be available: A cook to prepare a special meal or conduct a cooking class; wine tasting from their vineyard; limited groceries for your first breakfast.

Local Activities:

The Italians we’ve met are eager to help you make the most of your trip. The owners are the experts regarding their province and all there is to enjoy, such as festivals, markets or historical sites.

Country Living:

The typical Italian home is not air-conditioned nor does it have screens on the windows.
